You need to choose a skill from skill occupation list 1 (SOL) for subclass 189 and family sponsored provisional subclass 489
You need to choose as skill from consolidated sponsored occupation list (CSOL( for subclass 190 visa and regional state sponsored 489 visa

Different stages of this application is
English language test score with a minimum of 6 in each bands in IELTS ) other acceptable tests are
Pearson test of English
OET(occupation english test)
Score 60 points to lodge the EOI( expression of interest)
Apply for a state nomination if your skill is not under SOL
Once you get the invitation to apply lodge your main application
Verification will be done at the skills assessment stage and the main application sage.
