Wanting to Make a Difference Professionally
Registered Migration Agent, Jia has a strong and varied legal background. Prior to entering the field of migration, Jia worked in property law and commercial litigation. While she enjoyed working in these fields, she wanted to work more with people and make a difference in their lives. Four years ago, she took a bold leap into immigration law and has not looked back since.
Prior to joining Visa Solutions Australia, Jia worked with companies that mainly dealt with corporate sponsored visas. While challenging, she felt it lacked a personal element and wanted to do more work with individual clients.
Joining VSA means she will have a wider range of cases to work on and she will be working with individual clients rather than businesses. She is looking forward to embracing the challenge and variety of cases this will bring and making a positive difference in the lives of her clients.
A Busy Life
When Jia’s not working she enjoys travelling. She has just returned from a two and a half month trek around the world where she visited Europe, America, Canada and Iceland. Of the 10 countries she was fortunate enough to visit, her favourites were Scotland, France, the US and Canada. Given the chance, she would like to go back to Hawaii and Canada.
Jia also enjoys bushwalking and outdoor activities such as going to the beach. As an animal lover, she has also spent time volunteering with the RSPCA.
